Hi, I'm [ R. Carnie Littlefield ]!

I am a writer and illustrator and created www.LittlefieldBooks.com as a platform for all my creative work. 

I've just launched this direct website for my first ever published and COPYRIGHTED book! I'm so excited and so glad you're here!

My wife Ashley and I moved to Tennessee within the last three years and have gone through a lot in such a short time. Who hasn't? I think everyone can agree that 2020 was a crazy year for all of us and it changed the way work/life was viewed by many. I know we were able to make some drastic moves out of Texas thanks to the way things changed so quickly for everyone.

I'm grateful for my job going on 11 years now at Breathing Color and as the new General Manager; I'm under a lot of stress I never expected. The challenge has been great for stretching my abilities and I only hope to continue growing my skillsets in this role.

Ashley lost her mom which was the catalyst for us moving to Tennessee to be near and dear to her dad. It's been a rollercoaster ever since. We lost both our beloved Boston Terrier Trixie within the last two years and just lost our beloved Lab Retriever Tessa earlier this year. 

Grief isn't the only thing that has colored our recent history, but it certainly has taught us both to appreciate all the love and time and space we have with each other.

I'm blessed with the technological know-how and business ability to express my hobbies through websites, writing, and illustration just like this book.
